The word "Error" prints instead of text on some
reports. Why?
Terms & Conditions not printing or an "error"
is printed instead, or printing reports is slow.
Single User Version:
Go into Settings, Terms and Conditions tab and make sure the path to resfooter.rft is C:\LIMOWIZ2000\RESFOOTER.RTF.
The same goes for of the other settings like prom, wedding, etc. make sure the path is
C:\LIMOWIZ2000\......
You can also click the dotted button to browse for the file, and select the
correct one.
Network Version:
You must be on server.
Go into Settings, Terms and Conditions tab and make sure the path to
resfooter.rft is C:\LIMOWIZ2000\RESFOOTER.RTF.
The same goes for of the other settings like prom, etc. make sure the path is
C:\LIMOWIZ2000\......
You can also click the dotted button to browse for the file, and select the
correct one.
Note: the path to the files can be a network path (UNC), that points to the
limowiz2000 folder on server. For example:
\\myserver\limowiz2000\filename....
Still there is an error?
If you have the file path correct, but you still get an error, the file
RTF files that may have some missing RTF characters that are causing the report engine
to produce an error. Do the following:
Edit the RTF text, then position mouse caret at the end of the last character in
the text, then hold SHIFT key,
then press END key. Then press Delete key to delete the highlighted area
from end of text. Save the file and try again.
If this does not solve the problem,
copy the and past into notepad, then remove the text
entirely from LimoWiz, then past back the from notepad into
LimoWiz and format your text.
Notepad can be accessed by the Run
command in the Windows start menu or by going to Start,
Programs, Accessories, then select Notepad.
