You got a new computer with a large monitor, but the text and other items,buttons look smaller. So, how do you make them larger and easier to see?

The following is a method which applies to Windows 8. Other Windows versions may or may not have a similar feature:

On desktop screen, right click mouse anywhere blank to bring the pop- up window as seen below; then select Screen Resolution:

The following window should appear. Click Make text and other items larger or smaller link as shown below.

Make sure the resolution is set to the Recommend size.

The following window should appear. Slide the slider to the middle (see highlighted yellow area), then click Apply button.
